Symphony of Unity, the orchestral project conceived by the creative team behind Tomorrowland, marks the physical release of its debut album ‘Orchestral Selection I’ on vinyl and CD, out now via Tomorrowland Music. The album first landed digitally on 3 April 2026, and now arrives in the formats it was built for: pressed in wax and silver for listeners who want to hold the music in their hands.
Directed by conductor Kevin Houben and performed by an ensemble of roughly 50 world-class musicians, ‘Orchestral Selection I’ merges the pulse of electronic dance music with the elegance of classical symphony. The record reimagines iconic anthems through cinematic orchestral arrangements, including ‘Insomnia’ by Faithless, ‘Universal Nation’ by Push, ‘Mammoth’ by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and MOGUAI, and ‘In My Mind’ by Ivan Gough, Feenixpawl, Georgi Kay and Axwell. “By adding a breathing, cinematic orchestral layer, the music gains a new emotional depth while bringing these legendary tracks into the world of a full orchestra,” says Houben. “This album celebrates the music itself, the friendships within the orchestra and the team behind it, and the shared passion that allows these iconic tracks to be experienced in a completely new way.”
Meanwhile, the physical release lands during a peak moment for Symphony of Unity. The project was born at Tomorrowland’s Secret Kingdom of Melodia edition in 2015 and has since travelled from Belgium and Amsterdam to Dubai, Las Vegas and Brazil. Notably, the ensemble debuted its most ambitious production to date, Horizon, on the Freedom Stage at Tomorrowland last month, following record-setting appearances there in 2024 and 2025.
Two headline shows keep the momentum going. On 12 September, Symphony of Unity performs at Noctámbula Festival in Tenerife, Spain. On 25 September, the ensemble takes on the storied Arena di Verona in Italy, a Roman amphitheatre whose walls have witnessed centuries of artistic history. The Verona show is already sold out.
