“Guys, I’ve made the difficult decision not to travel to Mykonos today or continue on to Burning Man,” the Brazilian producer wrote on Instagram. “The past month has been incredible: over 25 shows across three continents, and I’m grateful for every one of them. But my body is telling me it needs a break, and I know the responsible thing is to listen. I’m taking this week to rest and recover.”
Notably, the news that Vintage Culture cancels Burning Man is a particularly painful call for Lukas Ruiz. “Burning Man is my favorite place in the world and has been part of my life for more than a decade, so choosing to miss it is incredibly hard,” he added. “I’m truly sorry to everyone who was looking forward to dancing together in Mykonos and on the playa. We will dance together again just not this week.”
