Armin van Buuren and Argy have released their full F2F set from A State of Trance at [UNVRS] Ibiza, giving fans who missed the night the chance to relive it in full. The performance was part of Armin’s F2F series at the island’s newest superclub, celebrating 25 years of A State of Trance.
Running for around an hour and a half, the set blends the two artists’ own records with a mix of trance and techno, plus several IDs that will keep track hunters busy. Armin dropped his 2008 classic ‘In And Out Of Love’, while Argy brought out ‘Voices In My Head’, his hit collaboration with Anyma. Naturally, the pair also played ‘Like A Child’, their first-ever collaboration, released earlier this year.
The F2F format is what makes these shows stand out. Rather than sharing one setup like a traditional b2b, the two artists stand face to face, each with their own equipment. That means everything relies on live communication, hand signals and listening closely to each other, which gives the performance a raw and personal energy. For a pairing that bridges Armin’s trance roots and Argy’s melodic techno world, it works remarkably well.
Armin has used his 2026 [UNVRS] residency to try new ideas, from face-to-face pairings to a vinyl-only set at every date. With the full set now on YouTube, anyone can hear how Armin van Buuren and Argy pushed each other across the night. It shows why the series has become one of the most talked-about parts of his summer, and fans will be hoping more F2F footage follows. Watch the full set below.
