Trance titan Armin van Buuren is back behind the vinyl decks at [UNVRS] Ibiza, delivering another all-vinyl set inside the White Isle's newest superclub. A fresh clip shared to Instagram captures Armin cueing up Public Domain's iconic anthem 'Operation Blade' on the wax, reaffirming the special connection he's built with the venue this season.
The Dutchman has made vinyl-only sets a signature part of his UNVRS run in 2026, giving fans a rare chance to see him strip everything back to two decks and a stack of records. In an era where the biggest touring DJs almost universally play with USBs and multi-deck controllers, watching a superstar of Armin’s scale go fully analogue lands with real weight.
Earlier in the summer, Armin’s vinyl-only classic trance set at UNVRS Ibiza quickly went viral, drawing a huge reaction from the trance community who instantly recognised the throwback selections. That night, he leaned into some of the genre’s foundational moments, celebrating the sound that first put him on the map. His latest vinyl outing continues that same thread, reminding the room how central the trance history he helped write is to everything he still stands for today.
Beyond his own residencies, Armin has also been busy elsewhere across the season. He recently confirmed ‘Mix 3: Energy’ from A State Of Trance Ibiza 2026, and returned to the studio for a series of new collaborations that continue to push his sound forward. But it’s these vinyl-only moments — pure, unrepeatable, no undo button — that keep drawing the biggest reactions from fans on the ground at UNVRS.
