Björk delivered one of the most talked-about DJ moments of the season at Dissonanze Festival 2026 in Rome, and fresh footage from the set is now doing the rounds online. The Icelandic artist stepped behind the decks for a rare DJ appearance at Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone.

Across the set, Björk showcased the same fearlessly curious ear that has always defined her artistry. She spun cuts from underscores, Arca and Kelela, weaving together experimental pop, glitch, hyper-processed rhythms and the club-facing textures that continue to shape modern left-field electronic music.

Her appearance headlined Dissonanze’s much-anticipated new chapter (12–13 September 2026) alongside Peggy Gou, with the wider bill spanning Chloé Caillet, Daphni, Donato Dozzy, Floating Points, Honey Dijon, Job Jobse, Kelly Lee Owens, Moodymann b2b Marcellus Pittman, Octave One live, Raresh, Ron Trent, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Skream & Benga, and many more across two days at one of Rome’s most iconic venues.

The Dissonanze appearance follows one of Björk’s more surreal DJ moments this year. In other news, she recently DJed Iceland’s total solar eclipse in a balloon dress at Echolalia Festival – a scene that quickly went viral.

Full clips continue to circulate across social channels, with fans still trying to ID some of the deeper selections from her Dissonanze night.
