The silence ends and a new chapter begins. Defqon.1 has officially confirmed the return of its annual season-launch broadcast: Defqon.1 The Kick-off 2027, streaming Wednesday, October 1 at 20:00 CEST live on the Q-dance YouTube channel - the moment the road back to the Holy Grounds finally begins.
The livestream is hosted by Audiofreq, E-Life and Stephanie Magic, and will officially open the gates to a new year of the world’s biggest hardstyle festival, revealing what awaits everyone on the road back to Biddinghuizen in June 2027.
Defqon.1 The Kick-off 2027 will reveal the official theme, the 2027 anthem creator, the latest Defqon.1 news, brand-new music, what to expect from the festival, ticket and travel information, the Defqon.1 Wishlist, and much more.
The Kick-off arrives at a pivotal moment in the Defqon.1 story: after the 2026 cancellation due to KNMI’s code-red heatwave, and the Endshow that was filmed without an audience, the reveal of the 2027 chapter carries an entire community’s expectation. Defqon.1 2027 runs June 24-27 at the Holy Grounds, and this is the night we find out what it’s going to look, feel and sound like.
Tune in via the Q-dance YouTube channel on October 1 at 20:00 CEST.
