Glastonbury Festival has confirmed ticket sale details for its 2027 edition, and this year's headline number is a landmark one. Weekend tickets will be priced at £408 (plus a £5 booking fee), pushing past the £400 mark for the first time in the festival's history. It is a jump of almost £30 on the 2025 price of £378.50.

The 2027 general admission sale is set for Sunday 4 October 2026 at 9am, with the traditional coach-and-ticket bundle going on sale slightly earlier at 6pm on Thursday 1 October 2026. As has been standard for the past several years, fans will need to have registered in advance in order to purchase a ticket.

The organisers have consistently pointed to rising production, artist, infrastructure and safety costs as the driver of yearly ticket increases, alongside their charitable commitments to Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid. Even so, the £408 headline number is likely to spark fresh debate among fans about the accessibility of the UK’s biggest music festival, particularly during a cost-of-living stretch that continues to bite across the country.

Historically, Glastonbury has sold out its weekend tickets in a matter of minutes, and there is little reason to expect the 2027 edition to break that pattern. Demand for the festival remains as strong as ever, with fans typically booking accommodation and travel in the days after ticket sale. In other news, we recently covered Orbital’s legendary Glastonbury 1994 performance set for its first-ever official release.

Full information on registration and the sale process is available via the official Glastonbury Festival website.
