Housed in a large-scale installation designed as a shipping container, the pop-up transports visitors back to 2001, when JAY-Z released his landmark album The Blueprint. The interior is styled around period-appropriate design cues, with vintage televisions screening classic music videos, live performances and era-defining programming that soundtracked the album’s original release cycle.
Inside, fans have access to a curated collection of exclusive JAY-Z 30th Anniversary Collection merchandise, alongside CDs, vinyl and archival memorabilia. The setup is free to enter, with daily opening hours running 11:00 to 19:00 across the five days. It arrives at a pivotal moment for the artist, whose sold-out Tottenham Hotspur Stadium shows on 4 and 5 September form the anchor of the London chapter.
The London activation lands in the same week that The Blueprint celebrates its 25th anniversary, giving the pop-up a dual purpose as both a career retrospective and a focused celebration of one of the most influential hip-hop albums of the century. Since its release in September 2001, the record has been credited with reshaping mainstream hip-hop production and launching Kanye West and Just Blaze into the wider public consciousness.
From here, the JAY-Z 30 campaign continues with a Paris chapter tied to the artist’s 10 September show, followed by a Los Angeles run on 23 and 24 October. Additional cities are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Full details on the London pop-up, opening times and merchandise are available via the official JAY-Z 30 press release.
