‘Surrender’, which received early support from David Guetta, is built around emotional female vocals and dynamic energy drops, pulling the listener through a dark, melodic and ultimately uplifting journey. Hypnotic soundscapes and electronic textures sit at its core, setting out the signature sound KHESEMA is built on. Where Markhese has long been known for high-energy mainstage moments, this project leans into atmosphere, tension and storytelling.
The move comes from an artist with more than a decade of experience on the global circuit. After developing his craft in London and starting out around Ministry of Sound, Markhese went on to perform at some of the hottest clubs and festivals in more than 60 countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. His journey includes five editions of Ultra Europe and ten years as an official ADE artist, alongside residencies in the UK, China, Vietnam, and Thailand.
His catalogue spans labels such as Revealed, Warner, Sony and Black Hole, with collaborations featuring vocalists including Flo Rida, Akon and Nicky Jam. His records have been played on Tomorrowland’s main stages and supported by names such as David Guetta, Tiësto, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Don Diablo, and more. He also founded INTNS Records to champion up-and-coming producers through releases and launched the INTENSE global party, inspired by his radio show.
With KHESEMA, he is channelling that experience into something more personal, blending dark melodic vibes with uplifting energy and cinematic depth. If ‘Surrender’ is the blueprint, the project has a strong foundation to build on. Follow Markhese on Instagram for more from KHESEMA, and stream the track on Spotify.
