Martin Garrix has previewed his new single ‘This Dream Of You’, which arrives this Friday, October 2. The track first surfaced as his intro at Tomorrowland this summer, and now fans will finally get the studio version.
This one comes with a personal twist. On ‘This Dream Of You’, Garrix steps behind the microphone himself. Sharing the preview, he admitted that “singing is very far out of my comfort zone”. Even so, he said he is excited to try new things and keep growing as an artist.
That honesty is part of what makes the release interesting. Opening a Tomorrowland set with an unreleased record is already a statement of confidence. Doing it with your own voice on the track raises the stakes even further. Fans who want to hear where it started can revisit the moment, as his Tomorrowland 2026 set is available to watch in full.
The single caps another busy year for the Dutch star. In May, he released ‘Repeat It’ with Ed Sheeran, and over the summer he returned to Ushuaïa Ibiza for his 11th residency season. He also teamed up with U2 on ‘Fireflies’, which followed its July release with a music video in August. Now, ‘This Dream Of You’ shows a side of Garrix that fans rarely get to hear.
The single lands on Friday. Until then, watch the preview below.
