Rupert Neve Designs has released three plug-ins based on its hardware processors: the Portico II Master Buss Processor, 551 Inductor EQ and 542 Tape Emulator. The release marks the company’s first plug-ins developed and released under the Rupert Neve Designs name. The three plug-ins were developed in collaboration with McDSP.

The Portico II Master Buss Processor is designed for controlling dynamics and the stereo field. The 551 Inductor EQbrings the company’s three-band 500-Series EQ to software. Its circuit design was originally developed for the Shelford Channel and draws from Rupert Neve’s vintage EQ designs.

Meanwhile, the 542 Tape Emulator recreates RND’s tape saturation circuit. It also includes a soft clipper and the company’s Silk Red and Blue harmonic saturation controls.

The plug-ins support AAX, AU and VST3 formats and work with major DAWs including Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton Live, FL Studio, LUNA, Reaper and Studio One. They run natively on Intel and Apple silicon systems.

The Master Buss Processor is priced at $199 USD, while the 551 Inductor EQ and 542 Tape Emulator each cost $129 USD. All three are available now through the Rupert Neve Designs webstore and selected authorized resellers.
