The EP was recorded at RAR Studios in Sussex after the pair came off the back of their initial packed-out live shows earlier this year — a run that also included a blistering summer of festival appearances from Coachella through to Fuji Rock. Among the new songs are two wildly different versions of Celebration and a 10-minute version of album closer IN A MINUTE.
“Celebration is a privilege. Celebration is a person. Celebration is a funeral and celebration is a ritual. It’s human nature. And it’s a human need. We should all be celebrated, as real human beings,” TOMORA shared on the EP.
TOMORA ‘Celebration’ EP tracklist
- Celebration
- Hold On Let Go
- What Do We Got?
- IN A MINUTE (Live From The Studio Version)
- Celebration – Ritual Mix
The release comes ahead of TOMORA’s anticipated live shows in the UK and Europe. Their intimate spring shows — timed around the release of debut album COME CLOSER — were met with widespread acclaim, with NME calling their London date “a fully-rounded dancefloor-smashing experience” and 1883 Magazine dubbing the show “triumphant.” The Roundhouse London date on October 28 and Amare (The Hague) on October 31 are both already sold out.

Released earlier this year, TOMORA’s debut album COME CLOSER was less about two separate artists finding a middle ground and more the sound of a tenacious duo connecting in the studio and hitting massive creative peaks together — flowing from the wigged-out psychedelia of the 1960s to the super-futurism of sounds imagined for the 2060s. The Arts Desk called it “ear-bogglingly exciting” in a 5-star review; DJ Mag called it “exceptional”; NME called the album “exceptional, beautiful and shit tonnes of fun”; and DAZED noted “Rowlands’ high-octane dance lineage meets AURORA’s theatrical, larger-than-life vocals.”
TOMORA’s Celebration is out now. The full CELEBRATION EP lands October 16 digitally and November 27 on physical formats via tomora.love.
