Röyksopp are heading to one of London’s most atmospheric venues. The Norwegian duo will take over Hackney Church on Friday, December 4, for an open to close DJ set, giving fans an entire night with the pair behind the decks.

Rather than a live show built around their albums, this one is all about their club side. Across the full night, Röyksopp will be exploring their club DNA inside the 750-year-old church, a setting that suits a duo known for blending melancholy, melody and dancefloor energy. With hours to fill instead of a standard festival slot, it is the kind of format that gives them room to dig deep.

Their journey stretches back more than two decades. It began with their seminal debut album ‘Melody A.M.’, which recently turned 25. Since then, they have kept pushing their sound in new directions, working with artists including Robyn, Fever Ray and Alison Goldfrapp along the way.

The show is presented by Labyrinth Events. A pre-sale opens today, Friday, October 2, at 12pm, exclusively for those who have signed up through Labyrinth Events.

For a duo whose music has always carried a sense of space and atmosphere, a historic church is a striking backdrop for a full night of Röyksopp. Check out the announcement below.
