Pophouse, the Sweden-based investment firm co-founded by ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus, says it will support Sia in developing new creative ventures while looking after her body of work. “These songs mean so much to me, and I love that they really understand that and want to take care of them,” Sia said. “It feels exciting to think about all the new and different ways these songs might get to live on and find people.”
According to Variety, the figure was first reported by TMZ, which said the deal is complicated by Sia’s divorce from Dan Bernad. Citing legal documents, TMZ reported that $165 million covers songs written before the marriage, including ‘Chandelier’, ‘Titanium’ and ‘Cheap Thrills’. The remaining $15 million, tied to songs written during the marriage, will reportedly be held in escrow until the two agree terms.
Her catalog carries plenty of weight on the dancefloor. Sia is the voice of David Guetta’s ‘Titanium’, and she joined Diplo and Labrinth as LSD for ‘Thunderclouds’. She also co-wrote Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ and Beyoncé’s ‘Pretty Hurts’.
Pophouse CEO Jessica Koravos called it “a privilege to partner with Sia,” and the investment comes through Pophouse Fund I, which closed at €1 billion in 2025. The firm already holds a strong dance music portfolio, including catalogs from Swedish House Mafia and Avicii, whose family sold 75% of his catalog to the firm in 2022. Its holdings also span Iron Maiden, Tina Turner, Kiss and Cyndi Lauper, alongside projects like ABBA ‘Voyage’ and the Avicii Experience.
