Over a month after his monumental concert in Mumbai, Dutch superstar Hardwell finally unveils the aftermovie that summarizes the historically gargantuan event. The event was held on the 13th of December last year at the D.Y. Patil Stadium with over 70,000 fans in attendance. The purpose of this ‘World’s Biggest Guestlist’ concert, which tallied over 125,000 fans to register, is to make a social change and provide awareness around the issue of education for underprivileged children in India.
Teaming up with the organization Magic Bus, Hardwell’s United We Are Foundation and Guestlistevents.in raised an astonishing amount of money that would be able to help out over 18,000 children living in poverty. Aside from the fans in attendance, the event was also streamed online via Hotstar livestream in which over 10 million people witnessed the massive show. Being the first electronic DJ to amass this much profit for a humanitarian effort, Hardwell certainly showed his magnanimous side by helping out those who are less fortunate and providing a better future for our society.
The aftermovie below highlights some of the process that went in to put the event together, including Hardwell explaining why he wanted to give back to the society and preparing himself for the concert. Short interviews from United Welfare Trust founder Shailendra Singh and Anna Agency CEO Anna Knaup were included as well as those from some of the attendees of the show who talked about the Breda native and his charitable work. From the rowdy crowd to the awe-inspiring visuals, moments from the concert were also shown, recapping the spectacular event held by one of the world’s best DJ’s.
