Axwell Λ Ingrosso – Thinking About You [Remixes]

Having already released both the ‘Radio Edit’ and the ‘Festival Mix’ of one of their biggest summer anthems to date, iconic duo Axwell /\ Ingrosso have now treated us to the official remix package of ‘Thinking About You‘. Featuring superb vocal from Richard Archer of Hard Fi fame, and female vocals from Karin Parker, the track became another monster hit from the Swedes to add to their already impressive collection of hits. To make things even better, they have called upon Dutch brothers DubVision and Sydney based Hounded to add their own unique sounds to the track, and the two remixes do not disappoint.

After releasing a handful of original mixes, DubVision remain faithful to their melodic house realm for their interpretation of ‘Thinking About You‘. The Dutch duo’s melodic tendencies take over and reinvent what was already an uplifting original. Their take starts off with a deceptively peaceful beginning, choosing to emphasize the original track’s emotive vocals and underline it with a central guitar melody, which gradually builds into a melodic peak-time offering. And having already proven to be a festival floor-filler in many of Axwell /\ Ingrosso’s live sets over the summer, this remix has become one of the most highly anticipated releases of the past few months.

Having already delivered incredibly successful remixes for Zayn Malik and Estelle, Hounded opts to keep his remix short and sweet on this occasion – by speeding up the vocals and yet still creating a very soothing tropical sound, he delivers an intoxicating vibe throughout. This track will work perfectly at a chilled pool party. Even though there are only 2 remixes included in the package, there is a nice variety between them and they both compliment the original track nicely.
