Ultra Worldwide captures global fame with sold out Rio de Janeiro edition
As far as the top notch festivals go, there is hardly any that gives competition to the global appeal of the Ultra Worldwide setup. With the sold-out night in beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro, Ultra has now produced a staggering 26 events in 17 countries across 5 continents in 2016, the best year that the set up has had since 1997 – when Ultra first ventured under the leadership of Russell Faibisch into becoming the entertainment platform it is recognized as today.
And as far as statistics go, a little over a 1,000,000 have attended the events organized by the Ultra franchise with the additional 165 million tuning in to watch the event live. And this doesn’t come as a surprise, not to the 40 million unique viewers who viewed Final Kid‘s breathtaking Ultra Aftermovies in 2016. With the revered global appeal and a zeal to put music first to the fans, Ultra has had taken countries by storm with its festivals and line-ups. Recently voted as the #1 festival in the world, Ultra completed its 18th year by the Bayfront Park and will look to rake in more accolades when we get back to report on the 19th edition of Ultra 2017 on March 24-26, 2017.
