Hailing from Philadelphia, the DJ/Producer duo of Clef & Canberra have surged onto our electronic dance music radar’s with their sophomore release, “On the Run“. Teaming up with the reputed vocals of Jonny Rose, the pair certainly prove their worth at the Big Room sub-genre.
Regular and dominant within the ever-growing North American scene, Clef & Canberra are a dynamic duo to say the least. Playing the supporting role for the likes of Marshmello, Sander van Doorn, Seven Lions and Mark Knight, their rapid ascendance of the artist ladder is no fluke.
Coming off of the back of their first release, “Mad City”, the tracks notable charting on the Beatport Big Room chart also gained the attention of industry elite, Blasterjaxx, Morgan Page and Firebeatz, as well as well-earned feature on SiriusXM Radio. With their portfolio of studio work including Bootleg’s of Firebeatz and Schella’s collaboration “Dear New York“, their most recent release comes forth on the renowned imprint, Peak Hour Music.
Providing another Big Room track, “On The Run” carries with it both Electro House and Progressive House tenancies. Pulsating from the outset, the number of compiled layers reflects a crafted and thought out composition. Plucky in its synth selection, the inception of Jonny Rose’s vocals set alight the core atmosphere.
