In light of the recent terror attacks at Manchester Arena, superstar duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso have come to an agreement with UEFA to officially cancel their Europa League Final performance, set to play on May 24th.

On May 22nd, 2017, tragedy struck as 22 victims lost their lives to an act of terror at an Ariana Grande concert located at the famous Manchester Arena in England. Since then, countless DJs have shown their support throw social media, encouraging solidarity and peace in times of horror such as this. To go one step further, Axwell Λ Ingrosso have agreed to completely cancel their performance at the world renowned Europa League Final in Stockholm featuring a match-up between Ajax and Manchester United. They have released an official statement on Facebook:

Due to the terrible events in Manchester we have worked with UEFA to agree that our performance at the Cup Final will be cancelled. It doesn’t feel right to us to continue. The UK has been a huge part of our career and our hearts are with them now and to people all over the world suffering from any effects of violence, of any kind. We were very much looking forward to this but the occasion doesn’t feel right for us. Music will always bring us together but we must respect how sad people feel today.

All our love. Axwell and Sebastian.
