Steve Aoki & DVBBS – Without U (feat. 2 Chainz)

Debuting his fresh new hit with a performance at this year’s Ultra Music Festival in Miami last month, EDM pioneer Steve Aoki has linked up with DVBBS and 2 Chainz for the release of “Without U”, a mid-tempo hit with flowing trap vibes and crossover elements. Including Pop-like arrangements from start to finish, it’s obvious Steve Aoki is turning a new leaf with where his music may possibly be headed. The over 3-minute track incorporates all the necessary requirements to ensure he secures a spot for commercial air time, and hopefully a spot on Billboard’s Top 100 as well.

A festival banger nonetheless, “Without U” is a fun track with catchy, melodic harmonies, and a futuristic structure perfect to carry 2 Chainz’ vocal arrangements. With major synth progressions and a bridge that follows perfectly to the track’s percussion-fused drop, “Without U” is rich in rhythmic instrumental changes, chopped vocal parts and really displays a clean and solid production work on Aoki’s and DVBBS’ side. The song as a whole distributes the perfect amount of ammo to push Aoki and DVBBS further into the limelight, and onto radio’s airwaves worldwide.
