Legends Tiësto and KSHMR have finally released their highly-anticipated collaboration. The track entitled “Harder” featuring vocalist Talay Riley was originally premiered back at Ultra Music Festival in March and has become one of the most talked about IDs over the past few months. The single initially suffered a three week setback in its release but regardless of the reasoning, it was absolutely worth the wait.
“Harder” serves as the follow up single to their collaboration from 2015 “Secrets” with Vassy that dominated the electronic music scene following its release. The track features some incredibly euphoric vocals from British singer Talay Riley and shows a unique side to both Tiësto and KSHMR’s production ability. Fans across the community have shown extremely positive support as they commend the producers’ for creating something fresh and not building directly off of their previous collaboration.
The title of the track may be slightly misleading as it is definitely more mellow than its counterpart from 2015. However, it elicits a much stronger summer-type sound with its soaring vocals and melodic progression combined with a vocal chopped beat drop. You can clearly hear influences from both of the artists’ styles as “Harder” is primed to be another hit from two of dance music’s most iconic artists.
