Steve Angello unveils the official music video for one of his latest songs “Rejoice“, which taps into an entirely new concept and style. The track features a powerful sermon from American pastor T.D. Jakes and presents a darker vibe than what the Greek-Swedish sensation normally sends out through his music.
The song’s artful direction is inspired by Angello’s own spiritual awakening, and its music video seamlessly blends computer-generated images together with astounding fashion designs. With its mesmerizing visuals alongside Angello’s masterpiece of a track, this music video is a must-watch production for any fan.
“Rejoice” takes part in the first installment, entitled ‘Act I – Genesis‘, of Angello’s upcoming studio album ‘Almost Human‘. The track is released alongside the Grammy-nominated artist’s collaboration with American singer and keyboardist Paul Meany on “Breaking Kind”.
Angello’s upcoming album will be released in three parts that represent the different stages of his life, ‘Act I – Genesis’, ‘Act ll – Inferno’, and ‘Act lll – Paradiso’. Following a reconstruction in his life, the legendary DJ and producer decided to head toward a new direction, reinvented his live performances, and showcased a different inspiration and evolution in his sound.
‘Almost Human’ is the perfect follow-up to Angello’s 2016 debut album ‘Wild Youth’ and fans can expect its tracks to be played during the former Swedish House Mafia member’s future performances. Check out the music video for “Rejoice” below and you can listen to ‘Act I – Genesis’ here.
