French superstar DJ Snake has returned with a captivatingly relaxing tune titled ‘Broken Summer’, with singer/songwriter, Max Frost. The track’s accompanying artwork is quite fitting, which seems to imply a post-sunset groove proving Summer is over when DJ Snake says it is.
Some readers may have heard about this song already. The DJ took to Twitter, to announce that auditions are open for fans to appear in the track’s official music video. Auditions will be held next week in Los Angeles, to select participants to be filmed for the track, where DJ Snake and his team will scout for some of the best dancers that L.A has to offer.
While the idea is creative, it’s not the first time a superstar DJ has asked for fans to collaborate with them. Dutch Future House pioneer Oliver Heldens took to social media to ask for help from fans on his track, ‘Underwater Watermelon‘. In addition to this, Danish DJ Martin Jensen followed suit, when he took to Facebook to deliver his fans the same invitation.
Despite just releasing his single ‘A Different Way‘ featuring Lauv last month, DJ Snake decided to treat fans to another brand new single, “Broken Summer.” Without fail, DJ Snake delivered with the release of this easy-listening tune. Driven by pads and warm pianos, in conjunction with Max Frost’s serene vocals, the track gives off an almost sensual vibe, leaving fans oh-so-relaxed.
