Giving more back to their fans than just music, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, and Oliver Heldens all delivered production masterclasses to their fans at Amsterdam Dance Event 2017, allowing avid ravers a behind-the-scenes insight to their production techniques and how they go about creating some of the biggest hits they have become famed for, like ‘Animals’, ‘Spaceman’ and ‘Gecko.’
Speaking to a packed crowd gathered at the DeLaMar Theatre, young prodigy Martin Garrix shared his experiences, showing fans how many layers were needed to create a perfectly produced melody through a 5-minute tutorial on melodies, whilst Hardwell‘s own talk focused on key areas of his build ups and the big-room drops the former #1 DJ in the World (2013, 2014) has become well-known for.
Funky disco-house producer Oliver Heldens took his audience on a guided tour of brand new track ‘Sound Of Disco‘ and how it was carefully constructed under his HI-LO alias, as the Dutch trio all taught their native crowds valuable insights into how to follow their lead.
With Amsterdam Dance Event offering much more than just a host of live music performances and events, attendees flock to the city from all over the world to gain valuable production experience and know-how from producers of this magnitude.
