Spinnin’ Sessions returns this week for yet another showcase of the scene’s biggest anthems across a range of labels, from a variety of artists. This week, listeners have been treated to an absolutely detonative guest mix from Dada Life‘s Stefan Engblom, who has just released his debut solo single on Spinnin’ Records, ‘Pure Adrenaline‘.

This week’s episode starts off in truly epic style with Sam Feldt‘s upcoming Spinnin’ Records release, ‘Wishing Well’, a heartwarming, chirpy anthem. Continuing to showcase a number of exhilarating house tracks, dropped into the mix is adrenaline-fueled masterpiece ‘How Deep Is Your Love‘ by Dankann, which is out now on Spinnin’ Premium. Next up, is explosive future house anthem ‘Nobody Else’ by RetroVision and Raven & Kreyn, which is due to be released tomorrow on HEXAGON. This week’s talentpool selection comes from Throttle and Niko The Kid, a tribal-infused anthem that will no doubt prove a crowd-mover, ‘Piñata‘.

Kicking off his guest mix in sensational style, Stefan Engblom drops his brand new Spinnin’ Records release, ‘Pure Adrenaline’, which explodes with energy right from the onset. The adrenaline levels continue to rise, as Thomas Feelman, Teamworx & STV‘s ‘Never Stop‘ is dropped into the mix, before Anderblast‘s edit of ‘The Champion‘ by Xaver. As the mix reaches its closing stages, Stefan Engblom drops Third Party‘s atmospheric collaboration with Pete K & Cory Lasser, ‘Like This‘, before switching to ‘Sinners‘ by Feenixpawl. The closing track finishes off the mix in bass-heavy aggressive style, hailing from Roulsen, ‘Rumble‘ is a truly fully-charged masterpiece.

We caught up with Stefan to discuss his inspiration behind the mix, and his upcoming plans.

What have you been up to lately?

I just released my debut track, ‘Pure Adrenaline’, on Spinnin’ which is super exciting! I’ve been working on a bunch of other records as well that’ll be coming out next year. Of course, I’ve been busy with my “day job” as one half of Dada Life and we have a new track coming out on Dec 1 called ‘We Want Your Soul’.

What did you have in mind for this Guest Mix?

I was trying to give the feeling of pure raw energy. That kind of energy that just makes you wanna jump up and and down with a big smile on your face. That’s what I look for in a track, the feeling of excitement… kind of like where you feel like a little kid again. That’s what it’s all about!!
