Arguably one of Australia’s biggest producers, What So Not is set to embark on the next leg of his ‘Beautiful Things’ world tour as he stops off in India for three nights of heavy bass lines and groundbreaking beats. Originally a duo featuring both Flume and Emoh Instead, What So Not became a solo project when Flume left the group in 2015. However, that did not slow down the music, as Gemini was released later that year – an EP which received a positive reception globally, and more recently he has collaborated with the likes of Skrillex and BURNS.

His ever evolving sound sets him apart from other artists, and has earned him a huge fan base across the world, meaning this upcoming weekend is one not to be missed if he’s coming to a town near you. Kicking things off at Playboy Club in Delhi on January the 19th, he will then be heading to Block 22 nightclub in Hyderabad the following night – before rounding off the mini tour at Matahaari in Mumbai on the 21st of January. The three-city tour is being held by none other than Phoenix Live, who have undertaken a pioneering initiative in bringing a whole bunch of internationally acclaimed artists to a budding Dance music scenario in India.

Speaking of their involvement for the coming year, the Phoenix Live setup explain their idea of hosting such events:

“We have done tours and gigs with international artists like DJ Bl3nd, Party Thieves, Delta Heavy, Jaytech, Quix, Wuki and many more. We are going to continue getting unique acts to the country and are also looking at bringing an international festival this year. Curating unique experiences and being asset creators is what we pride ourselves on.

..we strive to augment the Indian music scene by bringing acts that are unique in nature, hence, we collaborate with artists who have distinct identities, have their own take on genre breaking music and heighten music experience via partnerships with other artists. With 2018, we are starting of with the maverick producer What So Not in January, watch us out for more announcements.”

Guaranteed to be a night to remember for all, information regarding tickets can be found here.
