Skrillex is the latest EDM artist to earn one billion views on a music video on YouTube with his Diplo and Justin Bieber collab ‘Where Are Ü Now‘ which was released as a part of their side-project Jack Ü. With this latest impressive feat, Sonny Moore (AKA Skrillex) joins the elite and exclusive group of artists to achieve such a massive amount of views. Previous record holders include Avicii for ‘Wake Me Up!‘ and Calvin Harris for ‘This is What You Came For‘ with Rihanna. It is Diplo’s second entry in the billion views club, as his Major Lazer track ‘Lean On‘ garnered not just a billion, but more than two billion views.

Skrillex is out-shadowed by featured vocalist Bieber in this feat, as the Canadian pop singer has amassed four solo entries on the list with his singles ‘Baby’, ‘Love Yourself’, ‘What Do You Mean’, and ‘Sorry’. The most viewed video of all time, however, is the inescapable ‘Despacito‘ which featured Bieber singing in Spanish. Although he’s admitted to forgetting the lyrics himself, the song’s success has earned it over 4.5 billion views. Although this entry is attributed to original artists Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi.
