Galantis nominated for three WDM Radio Awards
With the World Dance Music Radio awards set to take place on Wednesday, March 21st, Swedish duo Galantis are dominating the nominations, with the pair up for a whopping three awards. The event, presented by Los 40, is known as the first and most prevalent radio awards show dedicated solely to electronic and dance style music in the world.
Nominated for ‘Best Electro House DJ’, ‘Best Party DJ’, and ‘Best Trending Track’, Galantis look like strong contenders to scoop up all three, having made waves in the industry since signing to Big Beat Records in 2013, delivering a series of dazzling live shows in the process to their army of fans, known as the Sea Fox Nation.
Dropping hits like “No Money”, “Runaway (U & I)”, and “Love on Me” in recent years, the pair will have to fend off the competition for their awards, which includes a stellar list of nominees including Skrillex, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, and EDM kingpin, Tiesto. The voting link is available in Galantis’ tweet below, so make sure to get online and vote for your favourite artists, with the awards now less than a month away!
