Paris & Simo have quite an impressive collection of hits within their catalogue, to put it mildly. We Rave You’s Episode 3 was blessed with their presence and work, bringing a fusion of progressive house hits with renowned vocal loops along with some special treats for We Rave You’s listeners.
Emotive, powerful vocals characterise the Episode, scattered throughout, blended smoothly with progressive kick-basses, melodies and synths, the duo create a vibrant atmosphere from the start, kicking off with crowd favourite remixes of Duke Dumont’s “Wont Look Back”, Alesso’s “Cool” and even Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph” majestic makeover by VITIZE within the first 5 songs. They showed no sign of stopping with their big delivery – an increasingly common trait of theirs.
Using acapella’s as transitioning tools throughout, Paris & Simo’s final half is more like a 30 minute blitz of heavy-hitting progressive drops, funky sounds and heart-racing tempo’s. Vocals from the likes of Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Major Lazer, Martin Solveig, Dannic, and Michael Brun reflect the high profile of the duo and their production, with their own hits such as “Drop The Pressure” and “Escape” fitting in perfectly.
Michael Brun and Rune PK’s ‘soon-to-be-hit’ “See You Soon” initiates the more emotive, calmer, ends typical of We Rave You’s episodes thus far. Fading into Third Party’s empowering new track “Alive”, the episode finishes on a high note, a nod to the future stars of the scene. Paris & Simo’s craftsmanship has given further credential to We Rave You’s Podcast Episodes, as well as proving the duo’s undeniable talent goes far beyond just producing killer tracks.
