Cazzette Releases “Dessert EP”

There really hasn’t been any doubt about the diversity and innovation that the Swedish duo of Sebastian Furrer and Alexander Björklund bring to the desk called ‘Electronic Music’ under their ‘Cazzette’ moniker. In an interview with us, which you can read here, the duo admitted that their aim has been to “evolve as producers and not to care about what the next ‘banger’ sounds like”.

Their evolution from “dubhouse” transiting various remixes for the likes of Adele and Swedish House Mafia, to bursting onto the scene with ‘Beam Me Up’ in 2012 along with their Eject EP. And now the build up to their Desserts EP has been down to the chart topping single ‘Blind Heart’ with American singer Terri Bjerre or ‘Terri B!’ at the start of the year and the release of ‘Together’, featuring fellow Stockholm artists Newtimers, from the Desserts EP itself.

The EP from the Swedish producer duo is a statement to the entire Electronic Scene, one which says that there is no need to cling onto genres and styles, that the music they create is focused towards experimentation and the evolution that comes from it. Featured on the EP are fellow countrymen Buster Moe and Newtimers on ‘Genius’ and ‘Together’ respectively, out of which the latter was released on 29th May, 2015. Adding to the album are North American artists Sterling Fox and LP through their respective contributions to ‘Dancing With Your Ghost’ and ‘Solo Para Ti’.

An all round well crafted and polished EP. Here is music, made in Sweden, exported globally and not bound to follow anybody’s guidelines or genre.  EP release on iTunes is on the 28th of August.
