Markus Schulz pays tribute to his fans with latest release
Markus Schulz has exploded on the mainstream scene in the past few months with tracks such as his collaboration with Vassy ‘Tomorrow never dies’ and his recent performance at Ultra previewing an array of new material to come. Schulz’s latest trance hit comes in response to his 2015 city production concept, using Los Angeles as the inspiration for this one, the place where it all began for the 40 year old German-American producer. ‘Avalon’ is named after a hollywood night club Schulz frequently played at in his rise to global recognition, owing a lot of his success to the connections he made with fans local and abroad much of which happened in this club.
‘Avalon’ embraces these emotions and memories collected by Schulz over the years with a powerful arpeggiated chord progression that quickly transitions into a trance induced scalic melody supported by the original arpeggio with a plucky reverb to it. The emotional connection Schulz has with this track is instantly felt from the beginning and absorbed by anyone listening.
