Today marks the 48^th birthday of longstanding Dutch DJ and producer Tiësto. Despite his current age, the legend is still one of the biggest names in the industry and is still in the prime of his career. Ever since his beginnings DJing around the streets of Breda and collaborating with fellow Dutch artist Ferry Corsten as Gouryella, Tiësto has not stopped astonishing the world with his musical prowess.

Tiësto gained prominence from his early trance productions such as “Traffic” and “Love Comes Again” and over the years, his sounds have continued to evolve. He then began experimenting with the progressive and electro house genre, which still sustained his success as one of dance music’s best producers. As a result of his incredible music, the three-time DJMag’s #1 DJ was able to achieve numerous awards both as a DJ, such as winning the DJ Awards’ Best International DJ, and as a producer, including his Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording (Non-Classical) for his Birthday Treatment Remix of John Legend’s “All of Me”.
