CLMD ft. Astrid S – Dust (Adrian Lux & Savage Skulls Remix)

Despite splitting up as a duo, CLMD remained strong as ever last year with releases such as “Did It Again” and “Keep Dreaming”. Martin Danielle, who continued producing under CLMD as a solo artist, evidently kicked off 2016 with great momentum in hand. In January, CLMD released a brand new track on Ultra called “Dust”, which has garnered a lot of success ever since it came out. Featuring the sweet vocals of Astrid S and CLMD’s awe-inspiring melodies, the track was not only able to uplift people’s minds but was also able to touch their hearts.

Fast forward to March, Swedish producers Adrian Lux and Savage Skulls provide their own take on the masterfully crafted original version. Known for his astounding releases “Teenage Crime” and more recently “Torn Apart”, Adrian Lux has undoubtedly produced numerous high-quality tracks in the past. With this reputation, it can be expected that his remix of “Dust” will be a definite treat to hear. Along with Savage Skulls’ own flavor, the remix simply delivers an impeccable mesh of their respective styles that result into an entirely well-designed track.

The remix kicks off with a groovy beat that brings out a club atmosphere right off the bat. The captivating vocals then enter, which blends flawlessly with the track’s bouncy basslines and oscillating deep house sounds. Overall, Lux and Savage Skulls hit a home run with this remix as it features a majestic combination of their instrumentals and Astrid S’ absolutely gorgeous singing performance.
