Diplo uploads 2.5 hour set from renowned Vegas nightclub

The legendary XS Nightclub in Las Vegas has hosted some of the world’s biggest DJs, including the likes of Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Deadmau5 and Alesso to name a few. This weekend, the nightclub celebrated its 7th anniversary, and invited none other than Diplo to join them in marking the occasion, with the Jack U member curating a 2 and a half hour long set, which he was graciously uploaded to Soundcloud for us all to enjoy.

As you may have come to expect from Diplo, this isn’t your typical 128bpm set engulfed with massive build ups and drops. Instead, he transfuses electro and bigroom with trap, R&B, and even some deep house, through innovative mashups and creative mixing techniques. He mixes the old with the new, dropping in some classics such as Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams‘ as well as current chart-toppers like The Chainsmokers’ ‘Roses‘. Listening to this set only makes us envy those who were lucky enough to be there at one of the world’s most famous nightclubs to fully enjoy Diplo in full-flow. The full set can be streamed below.
