Martin Garrix gives Ultra day 1 a memorable closing

As the first day of Ultra has come to a close, we take a moment to look back at Martin Garrix‘s closing set. After weeks of preparation, hours of show rehearsals, and a unbelievable hype on social media, it is safe to say that Martin Garrix’s main stage act was one of the highlights for the first day of Ultra Miami.

With thousands of flashing lights, screaming fans, and a euphoric new Garrix ID, the young Dutchman took the majestic Ultra main stage. After taking a huge risk promising to premiere a total of 9 new tracks, expectations were high for the Dutch superstar, but regardless of the risk Garrix managed to deliver a stunning performance. While many fans had expected new progressive house and big room IDs, Garrix had a few surprises up his sleeve in form of melodic trap, which was well revived by the majority of the fans.
