Mau5trap cancels three shows for Mau5hax tour
Deadmau5’s Mau5trap label recently began its Mau5hax bus tour that was set to go around the East Coast of Northern America. The shows consist of the Canadian DJ himself, ATTLAS, Steve Duda, and Matt Lange, which proves to be quite a formidable lineup. One major stop is the city of Miami, in which deadmau5 will be performing at Ultra Music Festival’s ‘A State of Trance’ stage alongside the likes of Armin van Buuren and Eric Prydz.
Just when the candle was beginning to light up, some unfortunate news was recently announced regarding the bus tour. Mau5trap has confirmed that an upcoming show at Orlando was forced to be cancelled due to an illness caught by the performers. According to management:
“It comes with great disappointment that due to illness contracted by the mau5trap artists while touring together, we are forced to cancel Friday’s Mau5hax tour date in Orlando. At the present time, there are no plans for a rescheduled show.
We will automatically be issuing refunds through Eventbrite and Ticket King starting March 10th. For all other ticketing outlets, please return to your point of purchase for a refund. Once again we are very sorry to all the fans for the unforeseen circumstances. We at HTG Events and Gilt hope and wish a swift recovery to the artists who have fallen ill.”
Aside from the show in Orlando, the artists will also not perform in Atlanta and Tampa, which has clearly disappointed numerous fans. Refunds, however, will be issued to all ticket holders. We simply hope all affected performers to have a speedy recovery so they can return back on stage as soon as possible.
