Galantis hit “No Money” goes platinum in their native Sweden
Galantis were one of the biggest breakthrough acts of 2014 who have steadily risen through the ranks to become a massive name in dance music with hits such as You, Gold Dust and of course, last year’s summer anthem Runaway which currently has over 105 million hits on YouTube.
They released their debut artist album last June entitled Pharmacy to a great reception and have created a melodic pop-house style that separates them from many other mainstream acts.
Today the group hit a massive career milestone as they announced on their Twitter page that their latest single, No Money has reached the incredible status of going platinum in their native Sweden meaning they’ve sold over 40,000 copies in the country. At a time when streaming services and illegal torrenting reign supreme, selling such a large number of copies of a track is a staggering achievement so we congratulate Galantis on this incredible feat and we cannot wait to hear the rest of their upcoming second album.
