KIIDA – Balangala (Afrojack Edit)
Russian duo KIIDA make their return to Wall Recordings for their third release on Afrojack’s label, and this time the label boss adds his own stellar touch to the mix to create a track fit for the mainstages during this year’s festival season. KIIDA have been gaining serious support recently on their previous releases from the likes of Martin Garrix, Laidback Luke and Lucky Date, and ‘Balangala‘ looks set to be their biggest hit yet with what may be one of the most unique tracks of the summer, and proves that they are a duo to keep an eye out for in the future.
Whilst Afrojack continues on his dominating role as one of the world’s biggest producers with his third edit of 2016, having recently released edits of Karim Mika‘s ‘Sax‘ and D.O.D.’s ‘Taking You Back‘.
Filled with atmospheric synths and sounds, the breakdown builds tension and sets the atmospheric tone of the track before the hypnotic drop hits hard. Unique and unusual to say the least, the drop still contains all the elements of a festival floor filler, with claps, kicks and shakers thrown into the mix to create energy and groove and combine very nicely with the metallic, robotic synths. This is one of those tracks that you will either love or hate.
