Mako thank fans in heartfelt post and announce debut album

Quickly becoming one of the biggest and most unique names in electronic music, Mako have taken to their social media pages to announce the news that they are working on their debut album.

The American musicians took to their social pages recently to announce that they will finally be releasing a full length record sometime in the near future. While details are incredibly scarce at the moment, we’ve no doubt that their mesmerising blend of indie and dance elements will come together superbly to create a fantastic record.

ok, here goes nothing. Logan and I have spent the better part of the last year and a half working on a full length Mako album. *deep breath* Don’t think we’ve ever really said that before. We picked today as a moment to bring you guys in on our little lives past, present, and future. Logan somehow freakishly managed to balance our touring and business, all while getting his law degree from NYU – and coaching me in the studio across country. Meanwhile, i’ve been in the lab working around the clock in search of some impossibly magical sound for Mako, one that truly represents the heart of what our project means to us. We couldn’t be happier with how its coming together =) We’re at a special moment, the finish line is in sight for the first time in what feels like FOREVER. Its this second that we’ve decided to push things a little step further. With the help of our management and our publisher, the team is exiling me on a month long trip to Sweden, Norway, and London. The only focus is to get inspired, to get away from our routine for a little while, and to find our final track to top off the album. We’re going to have plenty of information (and music!) for you guys in the weeks to come, but we wanted to take this quick second to tell you that we love every single one of you that have been with us till this moment.
