Mau5trap reveals tracklist including Deadmau5’ “Saved”

Mau5trap has seen a steady and rightfully earned elevation in reputation over the past 12 months or so. Aided by the more-production-orientated helmsman, Deadmau5, and a flurry of quality releases on the label, their roster now includes some respected and consistently performing names.

Its recurring ‘We Are Friends’ series has evolved to become the staple foundation of new material. In turn, making it the first source an array of material from its talented cast comes together. For Volume 5, the latest edition of the compilation, Mau5trap revealed the full tracklist in rather unique fashion. Opting to post a handwritten note on Twitter, the likes of ATTLAS, Rezz, and Matt Lange are names alongside promising material titles.

Set to be released on August 12th, the post featured a name many weren’t expected. The label guru himself, Deadmau5. Featuring his track entitled “Saved”, fans first got a glimpse of his recent burst of studio productivity back in February, through his flurry of SoundCloud uploads. The track itself holds a duration of nearly 10 minutes, reflecting its considered approach. As to be expected with Joel nowadays.
