Otto Knows ft. Avicii – Back Where I Belong (Dustin Miles Remix)

Little is know about Canadian DJ/Producer Dustin Miles within the European scene. Quietly making waves and gathering momentum on the other side of the Atlantic, his 5 track repertoire is starting to prove his enriched capabilities.

Previously known as Amasi, the young talent is now entering a new chapter. Featuring a couple of original pieces, Dustin Miles returns with another impressive remix. Having previously remixed Jasmine Thompson’s “Adore” with great proficiency, one can now listen with an air of expectation. Proving his worth, Miles has reworked the efforts of two of his idols. Otto Knows and Avicii’s recent charting track “Back Where I Belong”.

Keeping the air of Swedish style the track carried, Miles adds an angle more suited to the club scene. Maintaining the core melodic layers fans have come to know, recognize and love his adapts and adds a number of layers. Modifying the vocal towards a more energized tone, the progression carries a heavier Electro weighting, than the more simplistic radio-orientated one in the original. Delicately balancing the organic instrumental layers with new synths and melodies, Dustin Miles effectively achieves a fitting ode to two of his idols.
