Otto Knows has imprinted his talents within dance music history for a very long time over the past few years. A childhood friend of Avicii, his remixes, collaborations and solo material all deserve, and have received, major recognition.

Taking on Don Diablo’s sleeper hit alongside Matt Nash, the Swedish maestro laid out what many have called the better version of “Starlight”. Melodically friendly, the face lift of the original reignited interest in the track as a whole. Also responsible for tracks such as “Parachute”, the nostalgic “Million Voices” and an emphatic remix of BURNS’ “Lies”, his collection of charting successes reflect his ear of quality. Nurtured by the likes of Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso at the time, Otto Knows has earned prime-time placings at the likes of Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Electric Zoo and Ushuaia in Ibiza.

Don Diablo himself has made massive strides in his presence within the dance music scene in recent years. Teaming up the tender vocals of Noonie Bao and London-based Matt Nash, the original has gained nearly 10 million plays to date. With the likes of Protocol, SIZE and Spinnin’ then chasing the Hexagon Records label leader, the track was a major stepping stone for Don Diablo as a whole. Likewise for Matt Nash, the track laid out a firm foundation of momentum for the years that have followed.

Inserting a new body and stripping back the original, Otto Knows formed a mighty electro basis within. Bolstered bassline swoops adjoined to the drum stomp’s formed piece of enchanting dance music that spanned over six minutes in full. One of the iconic Axtone remix release’s, the track will no doubt be fondly remember by many of you.
