Zedd, Grey, & Hailee Steinfeld’s “Starving” receives platinum certification in the U.S.

One of the radio sphere’s biggest songs has just hit a major milestone. “Starving“, which is a collaboration between American duo Grey, American singer Hailee Steinfeld, and electronic music superstar Zedd, recently received a platinum certification in the United States after selling one million copies nationwide.

This accomplishment marks Zedd’s fifth platinum-certified track after his hits “Clarity”, “Stay the Night”, “I Want You to Know”, and “Break Free” as a featured artist alongside Ariana Grande. With “Starving”, Steinfeld successfully scored her second platinum record after claiming the prize for her 2015 single “Love Myself”.

Going along with the success of the track, “Starving” also ranked high on numerous music charts across the globe. Most notably, it once held the #5 position of Billboard’s US Mainstream Top 40 and even peaked at #1 in Mexico.

With the amount of star-power that this record presents, it comes to no surprise that “Starving” has hit this milestone. Thus, we look forward to what these artists have in store for 2017.
