The Chainsmokers add two more songs to Platinum Collection
The Chainsmokers have seen their fair share of criticism over the past year or so, but there is absolutely no denying that they are at the pinnacle of the music world. With 5 platinum plaques in already their collection starting with “#SELFIE“, released way back in 2014, the unstoppable duo have just added 2 more to their already extensive list of accolades.
Their most recent hit “Something Just Like This” with Coldplay along with their collaboration with Phoebe Ryan “All We Know,” were officially certified platinum by the RIAA over the weekend. Their last track to go platinum was “Paris,” which was only released a month before the Coldplay collaboration so it is extremely impressive how quickly their singles are able to garner so much success.
As their Memories Do Not Open Tour is under full swing, with their debut album was released over a month ago, there are sure to be more awards headed their way as the calendar year progresses. They are nominated for an astounding 22 categories at tonight’s Billboard Music Awards, which include the prestigious Top Artist award alongside some of music’s biggest names like Drake and Beyonce.
Congratulations to The Chainsmokers and their incredible success!
