Axwell Λ Ingrosso forced to cancel performance at Spring Awakening Music Festival
Sad news for Spring Awakening Music Festival goers, Axwell Λ Ingrosso‘s headline performance has been cancelled due to an unforeseen circumstance. The duo, scheduled to play at the festival in Chicago, as well as an afterparty at Prysm, have been forced to cancel after Ingrosso’s car was broken into and items stolen. Both the duo and the festival have confirmed the unfortunate news via their social media.
Items stolen included Sebastian Ingrosso’s laptop and passport, amongst other valuables. The loss of the passport was the main reason behind the cancellation, as without it they wouldn’t be able to enter and work legally in the U.S.
The festival is offering refunds for all Axwell Λ Ingrosso ticket holders for the afterparty. In the meantime, Yellow Claw have been officially been appointed as the replacement act.
