Zedd announces North American Echo Tour this fall
Superstar DJ and producer Zedd took to social media to announce his Echo Tour, which will see the Russo-Germanic DJ hit major music markets in North America this fall. An array of dates in various venues such as theatres and arenas begins in Vancouver, Canada on September 29, before wending his way through America and ending in Mexico on November 4.
Zedd will visit renowned venues across the United States, including San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium and Chicago’s historic Aragon Ballroom. The 3 dates in Mexico reflect the rise in popularity of EDM there, and also Zedd’s commitment to cross-cultural outreach following his ACLU benefit concert to promote the rights of immigrants through music. The tour will include support from Grey and Lophiile.
Zedd is a bonafide crossover success by enlisting pop superstars to feature as vocalists on his singles, most recently Alessia Cara on ‘Stay‘ which has reached the top 10 of music charts worldwide. The DJ will be promoting new music while on tour, including a new collaboration with Liam Payne, the erstwhile member of One Direction who already ventured in remixing while a part of the boy band. It is possible either the Payne collaboration or Zedd’s forthcoming album will be entitled Echo as well.
Pre-sale for the tickets begins on June 21, this Friday, while general admission will be released for sale thereafter. Check out the tour announcement below to find out when Zedd will be in a city near you:
