Closing out the main stage of Tomorrowland requires an extraordinary set that will nestle in Tomorrowland history, and that’s just what Martin Garrix did. No stranger to super crowds and playing exceptional sets the DJ Mags number one showed why he sits at the top of the game and dominates his performances.

The Amicorum Spectaculum stage was set for headliner Martin Garrix to close out weekend one of another truly memorable Tomorrowland festival. Under the dark night sky of Belgium, thousands packed together and gathered to witness the spectacle as the set got underway in headliner fashion. With a Garrix-like opening, the DJ hinted snippets of tracks including ‘Scared to Be lonely’ and the iconic ‘Animals’, much to the pleasure of the entire crowd.

Appearing behind the decks and in the light, Garrix dropped the banger-track ‘Byte’ coupled with fireworks and on-stage pyro, Tomorrowland went crazy. The track laid down the atmosphere and the crowd instantly knew they were in for an energetic and monstrous set.

From the get go Martin played as he meant to go on, mashups, remixes and the very best of Garrix tracks were spun across the hour. Main highlights throughout the set included his new track ‘There For You’ with Troye Sivan, a Martin Garrix Ultra Mashup of ‘WIEE vs Runaway’ with Mesto vs Galantis, and a mesmerizing closing Garrix – ID as fireworks lit up the Belgian sky.

The set was as much to breathtaking as one can possibly get from the young yet so experienced DJ. If you were unable to be at Tomorrowland this year then relive the magic that Martin Garrix played right below.
