Spinnin’ Records has won the award for ‘Best International Label’ at the 2017 Promo Only Summer Sessions Awards ceremony. The Dutch dance imprint beat out other renowned labels including Armada, Blackhole, Enhanced and Ministry of Sound at a special ceremony in Atlantic City, New Jersey last week.

Promo Only Summer Sessions is a three-day music conference, closing off with an award show where accolades are handed out to artists, radio stations, programs and labels. With hundreds of votes from American music industry professionals, these awards are an important recognition for anyone working in music, radio and promotion. It’s the second time the label receives a Promo Only Summer Sessions award, after Spinnin’ Records was crowned ‘Best Indie Label’ in 2015.

Spinnin’ Records is one of the world’s leading music labels and has kick-started the careers of many DJs, including world famous artists such as Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Bingo Players, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Sam Feldt, Oliver Heldens, Lucas & Steve and Alok.

In addition to talent development, the online presence is a major force behind the brand. Most of the music promotion is done via social media rather than through traditional channels. Over the years, the label has received numerous commendations including an award for best worldwide dance label and the prestigious YouTube Diamond award for reaching 10 million subscribers.
