Martin Garrix takes us back to his Ultra Music Festival performance [Video]

Following a heart-warming trip to South Africa in the second episode of The Martin Garrix Show, episode 3 follows Martin and his team through the journey to his 4th Ultra Music Festival Miami appearance. The episode also documents the relationship between himself, and his childhood friend Justin Mylo.

In the lead up to Martin’s eclectic Ultra Miami performance, Miami Music Week is in full swing. Amidst the constant interviews and media commitments, he still allocates plenty of time for friends and family. It is in this episode, in which fans learn of the friendship that Martin and Justin share, when Martin explains that the first gigs they both played, were together, sometimes in front of just 10-15 people. Justin also added that he plays an integral role in assisting Martin with his music, explaining that he always tries “to really give him some feedback he can do something with”.

Music aside, Martin also takes the time to reflect on himself as a person, rather than a DJ. He believes despite being 21 years of age, he’s been “thrown into this world where age is just a number”. He also adds that the coming of age will allow him to stick around after his Las Vegas club sets.
