Spotify presents its playlist for the most streamed songs of summer 2017

For many of us, Spotify fulfills our daily musical needs as it allows us to stream effortlessly through its huge catalog of tracks from all over the world. Every day millions of users log in to their accounts to get a fix of the latest and hottest music out there, which begs the question, what is the most streamed song?

Well thankfully Spotify has unveiled a playlist of the top 30 most streamed tracks to have been listened to during this summer and it is no surprise who tops the bill. Reigning at the top of the global list with being streamed over 786 million times this summer is ‘Decpacito – Remix‘ from Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber. Missing out on top spot was DJ Khaled‘s ‘Wild Thoughts‘ which features Rhianna and Bryson Tiller while French Montanna’s ‘Unforgettable’ took third place.

Of course, the talented Ed Sheeran made the list with his track ‘Shape Of You’ coming in at number six, a place ahead of the track ‘Feel’ produced by superstar DJ Calvin Harris. Both David Guetta and Axwell /\ Ingrosso enjoyed some mid table success with Guetta’s ‘2U’ featuring Justin Bieber earning number #12 spot while ‘More Than You Know’ sat at number #15. Heading further down the table The Chainsmokers and Coldplay’s ‘Something Just Like This’ reached number #18 as Martin Garrix‘s ‘There For You’ made the playlist at number #28.
